Colonel Jeremy R. Ford serves as the 152nd Maintenance Group Commander, Nevada Air National Guard Base, Reno, Nev. He commands the Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Maintenance Squadron, Maintenance Operations Flight and Quality Assurance. He is responsible for the policy, programming and planning necessary to train and maintain the readiness for 257 airmen and for the management and maintenance of eight C-130H3 aircraft. The Maintenance Group is tasked to provide mission capable aircraft to perform tactical air delivery capability to the State of Nevada and combatant commanders, and to provide large scale aerial firefighting by employing the Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System.
Colonel Ford graduated from Ohio University in 2002 and entered the Air Force in July 2002 through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps program from Detachment 650. Throughout his military career he has served as an enlisted member of the Army Reserves, active duty Air Force and as both a traditional and fulltime member of the Air National Guard. His service has spanned a board career to include numerous flight operations and support positions, Bilateral Affairs Officer for the State Partnership Program and Division Chief staff officer for the National Guard Bureau. He is a command pilot, an evaluator pilot in multiple airframes and holds more than 3,100 hours and 400 combat hours in operations Joint Forge, Joint Guardian, Enduring Freedom, and Inherent Resolve.
