WELCOME TO THE NEVADA AIR NATIONAL GUARD KEY VOLUNTEER PROGRAM:
The Key Volunteer Program is an official unit/family program designed to enhance readiness and establish a sense of community at the 152nd Airlift Wing. The program helps promote partnerships between unit leadership and our families by providing a basic foundation of training, education and resources. It's an excellent way to bridge communication gaps and maintain contact with families--to inform, support or refer them as needed.
- Increased awareness of base and community resources.
- Assist unit leadership in identifying and resolving issues that impact families.
- Provides help in facilitating communication between families and unit leadership.
- Prepares and supports families during separations by helping to improve the quality of life among unit families.
- Shares knowledge of unit and community events.
We understand that the Nevada Air National Guard lifestyle is often punctuated by separations: deployments, mobilizations, TDYs or crises situations. Whether family separations are planned or unexpected, the Key Volunteers assist families through these separations by keeping the lines of communication open and providing assistance in finding resource information.
Our ultimate goal is to assist in developing strong, self-sufficient Nevada Air National Guard families.
