The 152nd Airlift Wing is home of the world-renowned High Rollers, a premier Combat Airlift wing that offers the most breathtaking and challenging low-level flying in the lower 48. Our Wing operates 8 C-130 H3 aircraft at the Reno-Tahoe International Airport, tasked to provide on demand Combat Airlift and Airdrop both stateside and in support of global combat and humanitarian contingencies. In addition, the 152nd Airlift Wing flies MAFFS missions (Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System) in support of the US Forestry Service’s firefighting efforts.
Reno offers a myriad of adventures. Outdoor family activities are on the doorstep of town: Lake Tahoe, 18 ski resorts, hundreds of mountain biking and hiking trails, countless lakes, perfect for fishing and boating, and the Truckee River flowing through downtown Reno.

Pilot Boards are usually held annually, with dates posted on this website and on Bogidope.com. Applications are due 45 days prior. Combat System’s Officer applicants may apply at any time, as boards are typically held bi-annually.
