Col. Eric J. Stringer currently serves as the Medical Group Commander, 152nd Airlift Wing, Nevada Air National Guard Base in Reno, Nev. The unit is tasked to provide tactical C-130 airlift capability to the State of Nevada and Combatant Commanders, and to fight large scale aerial firefighting by employing the Modular Airborne Fire Fighting System. He is also responsible for commanding the Nevada Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and high-yield Explosives (CBRNE) Enhanced Response Force Package (CERFP) Medical element. In this position he is responsible for advising the Airlift Wing leadership and personnel on the healthcare continuum and medical readiness of over 1000 Airmen assigned to the wing.
