Happy Homecoming!

Happy Homecoming!

RENO -- 8 members of the 152AW "High Rollers" who were part of the Nevada Guard's Agri-business Development Team (ADT) returned home from Afghanistan Wednesday. The ADT is comprised of about 60 Airmen and Soldiers from across the state.

The ADT is concluding a year-long deployment in Afghanistan. The team primarily worked in Logar, Wardak and Bamyan provinces helping improve the area's agricultural techniques and farming capacities. They also worked with provincial and district level officials to develop a strategic plan for future improvements in the agricultural community.

According to the ADT, the team completed 116 major projects in more than 20 geographic districts. Nearly 10,000 Afghans received agricultural training directly from the team during its deployment.

The remainder of the ADT is set to return to northern and southern Nevada within the next several days.
