Nevada Air Guard partners with University of Nevada, Reno
To commemorate the University of Nevada, Reno’s 150th birthday, the 152nd Airlift Wing, Nevada Air National Guard, flew the university’s Sesquicentennial Commemorative “Battle Born” Shield over the greater Reno-Tahoe area and Mackay Stadium the day before the first game of the Football Season. Upon landing, the crew presented the shield to the University President, University Athletics Director, Football Head Coach, and the Football Operations Director on the flightline at the Nevada Air National Guard Base in Reno.
