  • High Rollers demonstrate versatility and strength at Green Flag 21-05

    Early in March of 2021, the 192nd Airlift Squadron sent a C-130H, aircrew, and support personnel from the 152nd Operations Support Squadron and the 152nd Maintenance Group to participate in Green Flag 21-05 at Little Rock, Ark. The intent of this exercise is to integrate a variety of joint assets for a training rotation to help hone the warfighting skills of all units involved.

  • Air Force recognizes High Rollers with Outstanding Unit Award

    The 152nd Airlift Wing, also known as the High Rollers, received the Outstanding Unit Award for its historic deployment cycle overseas and assistance to federal firefighters in the western U.S. during 2018 and 2019, the U.S. Air Force announced Friday. “This recognition highlights the great work High Rollers accomplish on a daily basis here at the Reno Air National Guard Base,” Col. Jacob Hammons, 152nd Airlift Wing commander, said. “I’m extremely proud of the airmen that make up our premier tactical airlift wing. I want to thank the Air Force for recognizing them with this prestigious award.”

    On Feb. 28th, 45 members from the 152nd Airlift Wing (152 AW) met for a day-long strategic planning on-site, held at our excellent Dining Facility. The purpose of this retreat was to bring together diverse thinkers, leadership and influencers to define our three-year Wing strategic plan. Our goal for the day was to determine how to lead the 152 AW to become the #1 Air National Guard (ANG) C-130 Wing by 2023.

    RENO, Nev. – About 70 innovation spark cells launched around the world since the U.S. Air Force debuted AFWERX in 2017, with a majority in the active-duty realm. Earlier this month, the 152nd Airlift Wing, Nevada Air National Guard, also known as the “High Rollers,” became the newest Guard unit to participate with the creation of “Silver State Spark.”
